About Radial Fiber

Surgical laser Radial fiber (also known as Radial fiber laser or Radial beam fiber) is a special fiber design that is used to deliver laser energy during medical procedures
  • Fiber construction: The radial fiber consists of a central core and multiple cladding layers surrounding it. The central core is used to transmit the main laser energy, while the surrounding cladding can be single or multiple, and they can be designed to transmit auxiliary beams or monitoring signals
  • Beam shaping: Through the specially designed fiber end face or internal structure, the output laser can be formed into a radial or hollow beam pattern. This beam pattern can provide better results in certain types of surgeries, such as reducing thermal damage to surrounding tissues, or cutting or ablating tissue more precisely
  • Energy distribution: Radial fibers provide uniform energy distribution, which helps to improve surgical precision and reduce unnecessary tissue damage. This is very important for some surgical procedures that require delicate manipulation

Application

Radial fibers are indicated for the treatment of varicose veins and varicosities associated with superficial reflux of the great saphenous vein and for thetreatment of incompetence and reflux of superficial veins in the lower extremity.
Fiber optics are introduced into the varicose vein through minimally invasive puncture and laser light is emitted to close the lining of the blood vessel for a scarless treatment.
Endovascular Illumination:Ring fiber optics provide a uniform light source for venous endoscopy and reduce shadow interference.
